The Managing Safely Course is a four day course covering the following key areas of health and safety management:-

• Introducing managing safely
• Assessing risks
• Controlling risks
• Understanding your responsibilities
• Identifying hazards
• Investigating accidents and incidents
• Measuring performance
• Protecting our environment

The Managing Safely Course is evaluated by a 45-minute written assessment paper consisting of 20 multi-format questions and a practical risk assessment assignment, handed in 2 weeks after the finish of the course

• ‘Intensive Managing Safely Course’ (Over three days) – delivered three days in one week, for example, on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday
• ‘Evening Managing Safely Course’ (During the evenings) – delivered over four weeks, for example, three hours a night two nights a week
• ‘Weekend Managing Safely Course’ (At the weekends) – delivered over two weeks, for example, six hours a day on a Saturday and Sunday over two weekends.
