This course is suitable for registered professionals or nominated trainers who will be responsible for delivering medication administration training within their organisation.

Participants must meet the following prerequisites:

• Hold a current professional registration relevant to medication administration (e.g., NMC, HCPC, GPhC) or be an experienced senior care practitioner with delegated responsibility for medicines training.
• Have a sound working knowledge of medicines management legislation, local policies, and safe administration practices.
• Be competent in medication administration within their own role and able to evidence recent practice.
• Possess experience in supporting learning, teaching, or supervising staff in a health or care setting.
• Have employer endorsement to undertake the trainer role and deliver training on completion of the course
