This Safeguarding Adults level 3 training course is for all staff who: -

• Need to respond to adult safeguarding concerns
• Contribute to supporting adults at risk of abuse and/or their families/carers
• Participate in Safeguarding Adults investigations

This could include but is not limited to; social workers, community care officers, social care workers, social care managers, prison/correctional facility staff, GP’s, practice nurses, heads of quality, chief nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists

What to expect from your training 

You will join other participants in a fully interactive virtual course, delivered in real time by an experienced safeguarding trainer via webcam. The course includes interactive elements such as group discussions, case studies, and opportunities to ask questions, creating a classroom-style experience from home.

To take part, you will need:

• A Laptop, Tablet, or Smartphone with access to the latest version of Zoom
• A stable internet connection
• A working microphone and camera
• Speakers or headphones

Please make sure you are in a quiet environment to fully participate in the course.

This level of safeguarding simply cannot be fully delivered through a pre-recorded or self-guided E-learning course.

Our safeguarding virtual course includes essential and at times distressing topics that are vital for recognising serious safeguarding issues. This sensitive content cannot be made publicly accessible on an open platform, which is why we present it in a secure, online environment.

Led by safeguarding experts, this virtual course features real-life case studies and in-depth discussions that aren’t possible in a static E-learning format. Delegates can ask questions in real time, challenge scenarios, and develop a deeper, more practical understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.

Crucially, the interaction between trainer and delegate leads to better engagement and a stronger understanding of the course material.

• Understand how the Mental Capacity Act + Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards support safeguarding vulnerable adults
